Whether you're just thinking about hiring someone or already have a couple employees on board, there are some important laws you need to be aware of as a small business employer. This workshop will give you the basics on those laws and alert you to important issues, so you'll be able to spot red flags when they come up. It will also help you take the right steps so if things don't go well, you'll be in a good spot if you need to terminate an employee. This workshop is especially geared towards businesses with 1 to 5 employees, or those thinking about making their first hire, but will have helpful information for all small employers. In addition to tips and information, you'll receive sample forms to help you as you navigate the role of employer
